Improvements in Linux Kernel 2.6.27
October 27th, 2008

A few weeks ago the Linux Kernel 2.6.27 was released with various changes. The list is fairly indepth however there are alot of promising improvements. Here is a good article which outlines the five best things in Linux 2.6.27. That being said most (if not all) of the major Linux flavors have not yet been able to integrate the kernel because testing with all the flavor’s additions and modules must occur before a new release is deemed stable. Good news is that Ubuntu is including 2.6.27 in their latest update Intrepid Ibex.
